Your Personal or Group Retreat
If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and "just be", The Land of Yawe welcomes you! You can lead your own retreat or it can be led by Kate Trnka, the founder of The Sacred Earth Institute and the steward of Yawe - a 5-acre parcel of land located in Waushara County, Wisconsin—nestled between Mt. Morris, Wild Rose and Wautoma. We offer silent retreats, spiritual retreats, directed nature therapy sessions, as well as healing sessions.
Accommodations
THE TREE HOUSE
The Tree House offers a twin bed and can also accommodate an additional twin air mattress, if needed. The Tree House is fully insulated and has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven, hot pot and electric griddle. It has a desk for your writing and a chair for relaxing. The tree house has heat and cooling resources and is supplied with linens, pillows, comforters, towels and soap.
NOTE: There is no running water on the property, but we do have an outdoor outhouse and drinking water will be made available for your stay. A continental breakfast is provided with your overnight stay in the Tree House only.
THE SHED
The Shed is just like it sounds...a shed. However, there is room to rest your ahead amongst the tools and shelving to accommodate the provided camp cot, camp chair, small table and lamp. We'll run extension cords to the building so you can charge your phone, turn on the lamp and maybe even run a fan on those warmer nights. Other than that...think of it like tent camping but without potentially getting wet and less chance for bugs. The Shed is not insulated.

Meal Options
You may choose to bring your own food. (The Tree House has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot pot, small electric griddle, small coffee pot. The Shed has none of these.) Or, let us know if you'd like us to provide meals.
